Tracking user activity and reporting in Confluence server

I am looking for recommendations for a Confluence server add-on to report on all content across many spaces (e.g page views, last updated, etc.). Would also like to report on search queries (but not with Google analytics).

There is some analytics built into Confluence that you can enable, but they're simple, aimed at debugging and do not scale well for larger systems.

A far better option is to use Apps built for this.  I've found Viewtracker and Analytics to be very good for this, but there are some others.  Start with a look at https://marketplace.atlassian.com/search?product=confluence&query=analytics
