Hi, guys! I'm trying to solve the following issue in Approval Path.
I have my user time zone set as "GMT" (Brazil). In all my Confluence pages, when I start a definition, I can check in the comments session of the page that Approval Path generated an approval log with the right time zone, related to my user, I mean, "GMT" time zone. But when I check the logs in the Approval Path console (in the "Activity" tab), I note that the time zone used was not "GMT", but "UTC". Of course, I need the same time in both places (Confluence Page and Activity logs (in Approval Path).
Can you guys help me to solve this?
Thank you very much!
Marcos Marinho
First of all, thank you very much for your comment!
I guess you are right. When I have an approval, all comments regarding it in Confluence, appear with my selected Time Zone (GMT).
The issue is: on the Approval Path App side, all logs related to the approval process, is showing the time related to the UTC Time Zone.
So, the time of the page that was approved in Confluence is different from the logs showed in the Approval Path App "Activity" tab. And that's the issue I need to solve, I mean, Approval Path App also should be showing the GMT TZ, the same way it's already occurring in the comments of the page.
Any doubts, please let me know!
Regards,
Marcos Marinho
If I understand you correctly, you might be running up against a long-standing suggestion to set time zones globally. I'm fairly sure that Confluence stores timestamps internally at UTC and displays the time and date per the user-selected Time Zone.
