I initiated an export pages task in Confluence Cloud and accidentally closed the progress view window.
I tried to initiate an export task once again only to be prompted with the message that an export was running in the background.
Is there any way I can check the progress of this background task?
How will I be notified to download the prepared zip file once the task is complete?
Hi @Karla Espiritu and welcome to the community,
Can you please clarify what do you mean by "export pages tasks"? Do you mean that you export a space or certain pages from a space (within this space), or you initiated a cloud backup? For the latter it doesn't matter if you closed the window after starting it. When the backup will be over and you navigate back, you will see the download link which will remain for 14 days.
Hi Alex, I exported a space.

There isn't a way to check the progress of the task. I suggest to initiate a new export of the space.

You can actually check the status by going here: https://[your confluence URL]/wiki/rest/api/longtask
