Hello, I need to create a team.
I need it because I need to assign several tasks to more than one person. So I asked to pforge IPT and they told me that the solution was to create a team with the people I needed to mention on the task.
I went to Atlassian support page ( https://support.atlassian.com/atlassian-account/docs/start-an-atlassian-team/) and it explains how to do it.
But then, on my Confluence profile page, I cannot find the "team" option; if I go to "people" menu, I cannot see the option "to create a team", or "teams" option. Neither on my profile options...
Can somebody thelp me?
Thanks! Much appreciated.
Hello @Marta Escolano Serrano
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
The page you referenced is applicable to Cloud products. Are you using Confluence Cloud? If you access Confluence with a URL that is similar to the following then you are using Confluence Cloud.
https://<something>.atlassian.net
If that is not similar to your URL, then you are using a self-hosted Confluence product (Server or Data Center) and the document your found does not apply to your environment.
Hello @Trudy Claspill , thanks for the clarification.
Yes, I think I am using a self-hosted Confluence.
Is there any way I can create a team in this case?
Thanks again!

No, it doesn't appear that there is any way to do that.
I have not found any documentation about functionality for having "teams" in Confluence server/data center.
I checked to see if you could mention a User Group in Confluence or assign a single task to multiple users, and I found that neither is supported. There are change requests for both.
