Team Calendar transfer ownership of an reccurring event causing issues

Hello,

The issues seem to be relating to repeating events which we use for our daily meetings. The repeating event has been assigned to a user but whenever we try to assign it to a different user in the "Who" field the calendar always generates a separate duplicate event and sometimes (more seriously) deletes events (either future or past occurrences).

Is this a known issue and if so is there a workaround or fix for this?

We are using Confluence v6.15.2 (server)

Hello Amrik,

Thank you for reporting this to us.

I believe this is related to the following bug ticket:

  • CONFSERVER-58411 Adding a user to a repeated event causes duplicate event to be created

In the meantime, you'll want to create a new event when you need to change the assignee on a calendar event.
