When creating a table in edit mode it looks great, but once it goes to read mode the columns are not fixed like it is in edit mode and difficult to read.
How do you fix the column widths in read mode?
Hello there, @Jude H !
Tables resize according to what is inside of it. You can, of course, resize them manually by dragging the column lines. You can also set the table to use the entirety of the horizontal space by clicking the “-><-“ symbol right beside your table. You can achieve the same by clicking a similar symbol on the top right corner of your page.
When clicking that symbol on the top right corner of the page, you will make all the content take more horizontal space, not only the tables.
You can check more details on tables in our documents. Here, take a look:
I would like to ask you for some screenshots of the affected tables in both edit mode and view mode. Would that be possible, Jude?
Just take care not to disclose any sensitive information within those screenshots. Everything is open to everyone here in the community.
Also, one last thing. Allow me to ask you a few questions for clarification:
- What kind of content is contained within the tables?
- Is this affecting all tables created in your pages?
- Is this happening in different browsers?
Let us hear from you, Jude!
