Hi, I was wondering if it is possible to use table excerpt with multi excerpt macro?
I'm stumped as when I use Macro Excerpt Include on the other page, I get an error that says:
Oops, it seems that you need to place a table or a macro generating a table within the Chart from Table macro.
Is this not allowed? can the other page not see the table that is built from a Table Excerpt Include Macro?
My use case is that i'm trying to generate a source table once, use it for a stacked bar chart displaying all values on this page. Then reference the same data but filtered on another stacked bar in a separate page.
Here are the docs on Table Excerpt and Table Excerpt Include macros.
How did you configure those macros?
Yeah i've read those already to no avail.
This is what I've done:
1. Created source table with Table Excerpt macro.
2. Created another table using Table Excerpt Include macro referencing source table in step 1 on the same page. This is within a MultiExcerpt macro as well as a Chart from Table macro and Table filter macro as it is a subset of data from source table.
2. MultiExcerpt Include on the other page. -- Preview window of the macro displays table and chart appropriately from step 2.
3. Error message displayed below.

Could you try to replace Multiexcerpt and Multiexcerpt Include macros with Table Excerpt and Table Excerpt Include macros?

I dont think Table Excerpt and Table Excerpt include works across pages at least as far as I can tell.....also I have multiple excerpts i need to reference on this page to other pages.

They do work across pages (docs). They can be used even for reporting: one Table Excerpt Include macro can include a number of Table Excerpt macros from different pages.

thank you! for some reason i am missing Excerpt Source and Page Title options in my Table Excerpt Include macro. Do you know why that may be? do i not have a version that has these options?

also just for reference my preview mode works in that i see the expected chart/table from the other page, but when i click update and see the page itself, the only thing that displays is an error message.

Those options were added in version 5.0.0 of the Table Filter and Charts app. Are you able to update the app?
I checked: Multiexcerpt won't work as expected in this scenario.

It looks like we have version 6.13.10 - is it a specific permissioning I need to see those options?

I suppose version 6.13.10 is your Confluence version, but not the Table Filter and Charts app version.
