Summary page for the Space

Hello community! Hope you're great

I'm trying to figure out to figure out the solution for the next task:

• I have a space which consists of 39 pages (for instance)
• Since the pages updates lies down within a scope of specific team, it's time consuming for making any notes / sharing updates via slack or another confluence page.
• Additionally, slack is not sustainable way for keeping Historical data.

I've started thinking about the following solution:

• Create a separate page within a space
• Add the table with the following columns:
  • Date of change
  • Page title
  • What's changed?
• And then to create an automation / integration or something via Workato, which will automatically collect the data across the space & will automatically update it on this page

As you understand, I'm stuck on the last stage. Do you have any workable ideas or solution how to automate it? :)

It's Confluence Databases, the latest Confluence feature.

And you don't need anything else because it updates automatically :)

WOW! That's looks amazing! I would probably only need also the content from the page which was updated.

It's a database so not sure about the content, but there's an option to display an excerpt. I guess you can use excerpt to put in a note on what was changed. Or display the JIra link to the issue that caused the page to be updated.

Also, it's beta so new features and refinements are being added.

You can sort out the DB by the updated date - this narrows down the number of pages you need to look at... so you only need to click the link and display history/compare.

DB can also display version number so that might help too.
