We upload our manufacturing instructions to confluence and will post a hyper link for people to look at the PDF as they need.
When ever someone clicks the hyperlink the document automatically downloads and opens from their computers downloads folder.We need this to open just as a preview, I've seen similar threads but none of their fixes worked for me.Hoping someone here has some ideas!

You can try insert the PDF document through "PDF macro" on Confluence page.
I am not sure if it is possible to "disable" the PDF download function after clicking the link.
