Stop Jira links from rendering. I just want a hyperlink

Jim Strange April 30, 2021

Hi,

I'm putting together a how-to in my project space. It contains a link to a Jira filter. I want this to render as a hyperlink which, when followed, opens Jira with the filter in effect.

Instead, Confluence renders the whole Jira page within Confluence. Which means there's no link to follow to get to the point where I can export the filtered records.

How do I get Confluence to simply display the link as a link?

Ok, sussed it. As soon as you copy the link, Confluence will "helpfully" convert it to an image.

If I immediately "Undo" then the rendering will undo and the clickable URL will be shown instead
