I’m curious to know if anyone knows a way to create a static navigation bar/menu that stays with you while scrolling no matter how long a confluence page can be that is able to be personally modified.
I’d love to be able to quickly navigate to certain headers topics I assign that can keep it with you at all times unlike a header, footer, or table of contents that stays in the same location while scrolling. I need something that is preferably in house and not a plugin so I can access it sooner rather than later since I want to avoid admin approval if possible.
I am open to plugins that allow a user to customize their own space but would rather it be something already implemented in confluence.
I’ve tried tables but they only scroll so far, I’ve tried anchors but those don’t stay with you when scrolling like headers, footers and the table of contents.
Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.
Unfortunately, I don't see any other option other than using some marketplace plugin, you can't even use any custom CSS as you are using confluence cloud. Happy to be wrong though.
There is also an open suggestion raised with atlassian to make this possible natively, you may want to vote for it. https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-38746
Hope it helps.
