I'm running confluence cloud and trying to create "undefined links" by typing [Link Name].
This is not working for me, its rendering just as I typed it instead of creating a link for me. This used to work on previous versions of confluence and especially server. According to this documentation it should still work:
https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/insert-links-and-anchors/#Internal-links
I've tried a few combinations with spacing:
[Link]
[ Link ]
[ Link ] (www.link.com)
How can I create placeholder links for future confluence pages?
Thanks!
As per the instructions on the page, it would be [link]() Did you add empty brackets at the end?
Type [Placeholder Page Name]().
This follows the syntax as the keyboard shortcut for adding defined links [Link] (http://a.com).
Press Enter or Return to create the placeholder.
Select Close to keep the page as a DRAFT or select Publish.
