I have been creating and managing several spaced for projects we are working on for the last 2 months since I set up Confluence
A couple of days ago, I noticed the Space Tools button is now missing from the bottom of the side menu for all spaces.
I am the Admin and I am using the Default template - I have not changed any of these.
I have checked site permissions and space permissions - all permissions are still granted to me. I am the Confluence site admin.
Any ideas on a workflow to start troubleshooting this?
Thanks - Norm
Hello Norm,
I believe it's called Space Settings now. When I navigate to that section, I have the same options as I did in Space Tools.
Could you try that and if you don't find what you're looking for, let me know which feature in Space Tools specifically you are trying to use?
Regards,
Shannon
Shannon, Thanks for the reply.
In my "Space Settings", I still do not get the same tools as I had with Space tools - I do not get any ability to make changes to the sidebar layout.
The only thing I can edit are the "Space Shortcuts", by hovering next to its heading.

Norm,
Both the change from Space Tools to Space Settings and the removal of options to modify the theme of the sidebar went away about a year ago with the addition of the new Confluence look.
Can you tell me what you needed to change on the sidebar? If you weren't looking to modify the theme, perhaps there is another workaround.

Shannon

Shannon, Thanks again for your info.
At this moment, I am simply looking to remove some of the sub-menu options from the "Pages" section of the Sidebar (ex: "Decision Log", "Product Requirements", and "File Lists"), as they are not need for some of the projects.
Cheers,
Norm

Norm,
I believe you're referring to the space shortcuts section, for example:
If I click the pencil icon there, it gives me the option to delete the shortcut:
Can you have a look and let me know if you see the same?
