Is there any workaround for how "all or nothing" Space Admin permissions are?
The same Space Admin permissions checkbox controls:
- The completely innocuous "Shortcuts" sidebar
- The ability to decide who can edit pages and add comments
- The ability to COMPLETELY IRREVOCABLY DELETE A SPACE NOW AND FOREVER
I'm looking at delegating space ownership throughout my org, and I really don't want ANYONE EVER to delete a space without it going through a whole lot of oversight. Am I just doomed to give nobody space admin access?
Hi @Alex Sramek As per the below open Atlassian ticket this is not available currently and it's a old open request didn't consider by Atlassian yet still in gathering requests status.
If you have Atlassian developer in your team you can check the scriptrunner for Confluence plugin to restrict the users from deleting the space.
