Sitehome page not redirecting to space specified

Hi,

Client trying to set default home page in confluence to there space.

via user profile setting --> click edit and select the space under "site homepage" and click save

The problem is when client login into confluence e.g wiki.company.com, it goes to http://wiki.company.com/dashboard.action instead of going to there space http://wiki.company.com/display/myspace

Funny thing if I open a new tab on the same web browser and goto wiki.company.com, it works and go to the correct sitehome page http://wiki.company.com/display/myspace

Same thing happens firefox, Internet Explore, Google Chrome (latest version)

Has anybody seen this issue and has a fix?

I would set up a redirect at the web server level.
