Site export (backup) finished "successfully" hangs for 24 hours now

Egor Romanov December 29, 2020

I've started a creation of backup for cloud in confluence backup manager more than 24 hours ago.

And for almost 24 hours I am seeing a message "Site export (backup) finished successfully" and a loader.

In dev tools I get the following in the network section:
Continuous requests:

Request URL: https://troove.atlassian.net/wiki/rest/obm/1.0/getprogress?_=1609280033140
Request Method: GET
Status Code: 200
Remote Address: 18.184.99.130:443
Referrer Policy: origin

and following responses:

 {"size":0,"currentStatus":"Site export (backup) finished successfully.","alternativePercentage":"100%","concurrentBackupInProgress":false}

Is there any chance to fix this?
It looks like a confluence backup manager bug.

Also my confluence is small, there are less then 15 pages with not a lot of text and a few images.

Hi @Egor Romanov
Did you solve the problem?

Trying to create automatic backup for Confluence Cloud and this error stopped me...

Hello Egor,

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

Testing creating a backup on two of my local sites, I wasn't able to replicate the same behavior.

Once it finishes, appears the message you mentioned and soon appears the link to download the backup zip.

Have you tried to open the same page on another browser or incognito mode?

Is it happening when another administrator tries to create a backup?

Angélica

Hi @Egor Romanov

welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Interesting distinction would be an answer to the question if the backup succeeded with having a consistent and defined result at the end or "something" is missing (for the "last bits" rendering your backup useless).

Have you any insights on this?

If is it just the progress bar that never finished it would be way less critical than a damaged backup - that is why I am asking.

Regards,
Daniel
