Hi,

We have Confluence Cloud and Jira Cloud and it is integrated with our Single Sign On Identity Provider.  When we start a session, we first need to tell Atlassian our email address before the domain is detected and a Single Sign On is triggered.

Would there be an option to have the domain detected based on our outgoing IP range, so that when we are on premise, that initial entry of the email address is no longer needed ?

Many thanks.

Nikolaas

Hi Nikolaas,

Unfortunately , its not currently possible as far as I know.

There are some related suggestions for Atlassian Guard:
https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/ACCESS-1609

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/ACCESS-1051

You could consider raising a new suggestion there for automatic select by IP range, but the other suggestions there (based on site trying to access, or based on a "remember" type checkbox) might also be practical solutions for you?
