Signatures

Looking for some help/ideas here. We have a confluence form that is setup that we converted from an old, paper-bound process that works great but with one exception. On the form there is a signature required but the person signing the form is not a confluence user. We have signature pads that work great in house but I'm yet to see anything that could tie into Confluence in this manner. Any ideas?
