Hello everybody,
we are using Jira and Confluence as a Cloud service. Additionally, we are logging our times with the Plugin Tempo. We created a Tempo Report outlining the support hours spend per customer.
Is it possible to show this report within a confluence page? I haven't found anything in the documentation.
Thx & best regards
Alex
Hi All,
We have updated the link in the document to our idea portal. Thank you for bringing it to our attention.
https://tempo-io.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/KB/pages/382730297/Error+when+using+Tempo+gadgets
There is currently an Idea in place for Gadgets on Confluence for Server pages. https://ideas.tempo.io/ideas/T-I-336
We welcome you to add your vote or create a new Idea for this on Confluence Cloud.
Regards,
Tempo Support
Well, given that 7 people in just this one random Atlassian Community thread are interested in this feature, one might hope that Tempo staff would see the community desire for this feature and add it themselves to their product backlog.

Is this still outstanding from 2020 and is there any plan on developing this?

It doesn't look like Tempo is supporting their reports in Confluence Cloud right now:
https://tempo-io.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/KB/pages/379322442/Gadgets+not+working+on+Confluence
Following the link there to "open an idea in their portal" does not work (even with a Tempo user support login).

You can put a Tempo gadget on a Jira dashboard. However, despite their documentation listing lots of Tempo gadgets, I only see the My Work gadget right now:

I have found that sharing Tempo Report URLs can be a sufficient workaround. For example, add a shortcut in the Jira sidebar using the report URL, or as a Space Shortcut in the Confluence sidebar.
However, sharing saved Tempo reports can be problematic. I've found that if you "hack the URL", you can share saved Tempo reports. Simply remove the GUID from the URL before sharing. In other words, change the URL from this:
http://...reports/logged-time/0ea67a52-320f-4c49-9412-56808506fc39?columns=...
to this:
http://...reports/logged-time?columns=...
In other words, delete the 37 characters before the '?' in the URL.

Should be good to have an answer here.... Tempo Timesheet are pretty good but comes useless if we can not generate proper reporting through Confluence Documentation for our clients.

I'd like to know the same,

Dear Tempo Product Owner,
Please add a Confluence gadget that lets me show a one field report from Tempo inside Confluence.
For Instance, I want to show the total number of hours our company recorded for a specific client in Jira for last month.
Here is what the gadget output will look like in Confluence:
125.50
That's it.
Pretty Please.
Sincerely,
Kirk

You may want to consider building the report with eazybi which has integration with tempo and then adding the eazybi jira macro.
Link on tempo reports: https://docs.eazybi.com/eazybijira/data-import/data-from-jira-and-apps/tempo
Thanks

eazybi requires separately configured access to a database (for data center), which is a real show stopper for quickly trying it out.

Hi, I would also be very interested in this feature - are there any news from the Atlassian team? Thanks, Ole

Hi, I'm also interested to receive an answer to this question ...

It won't do much good to add "me too" posts here. To actually prod this along, we need to bug the vendor (Tempo). Here's how:
As a community we can cast our votes and increase the priority of this request.

Any update on this? Confluence provides a nice way of gathering several reports together in one place that can have context added around it.
