Sharepoint connector for office 365

I understand that sharepoint connector is not currently available for office 365 hosted sharepoint. Can you confirm that support is on the roadmap, and approximately when this would be available?

Hi Andrew,

As far as I'm aware, we don't have any immediate plans to work on supporting the SharePoint Connector in the Office 365 environment. We've done some technical feasbility studies on this and unfortunately the Office 365 platform is just too restrictive for the SharePoint Connector to function without a total rewrite of its back-end architecture.

There is an open feature request here - https://studio.plugins.atlassian.com/browse/CSI-683 - for the SharePoint Connector to be modified to function as a "sandbox solution", which would enable it to be installed in Office 365, however there has not been any significant customer interest in this issue, so it's unlikely to be committed to at this stage.
