Hi,
From within SharePoint, I need the ability to index confluence content and show the results as a unified (SharePoint and Confluence content). To my knowledge, It is achieveable only by using SharePoint Connector for Confluence; however, there is no connector for Office365 yet?
Can someone please confirm this? Also, has anyone tried indexing the Confluence content with SharePoint Online (Office 365)? If yes, could you pleas share your experience and anything that might be helpful for me.
thank you for your help!
Hey there!
I'm afraid Office365 is not supported and there is no connector for Office365 available yet. Also, OnDemand instance does not have this feature nor SharePoint feature available.
Hi Hanis,
Thank you, i have few more follow up inquiries:
Since Office365 is not supported, so now I am looking to host the SharePoint 2013 (SP2013) on premise. Assuming that the Confluence SharePoint Connector works with SP2013 on premise, are there any limitations on the Conluence OnDemand version?
I am trying to determine if hosting SharePoint on premise is enough or do i need to host the confluence on premise as well for the SharePoint connector to be fully functional.
My end goal is to be able to index Confluence/Jira content from within SharePoint and show the results as unified content (SharePoint and Confluence/Jira) content.
thanks for your help.

There are actually TWO questions:
We are approaching a critical need that this solution might very well fill. If this drags on indefinitely, my organization will be forced to look for solutions from other vendors.
