Hello All,
Nothing to add to what already has been said but just wanted you all to know that it is 2020 and this feature is still not launched. You can not create public links of your confluence page for free.
PS: We are all moving to Google docs!
Hi Piyush,
Try External Share for Confluence - Lite. That should give you everything you need, for free.

So, sharing with external was something we would have liked but the real issue is the lack of response to customers. Although this wasn't the only issue, we have cancelled our subscription with Jira/Confluence and won't be coming back.

@arsalan.khalid unless I misunderstood, that link you sent was last updated in early 2018. I am not able to share anything outside of Confluence, the snail's pace continues and I really think Atlassian is not attending to us users with appropriate updates and transparency. Their prerogative to run their operation anyway the deem, but I'd say it's at their peril when it comes to small business users (of which I am - team under 30) who have a multitude of tools developing quickly and competently to outpace Confluence and make it look like a dinosaur.
I invite you to weigh in here as well:

Same thing, a lot of dissatisfaction, and little response. I guess we got their attention as @Jasonphan chimed in, I assume he's the actual out and out PM of Confluence, but I think his response is not sufficient as same stuff as before: No specific timeline, not much detail on the feature, and I would call that a bit dismissive to the community with statements like "no more, no less."
Continue to think Atlassian is showing signs of arrogance in their approach to users. Perhaps the Enterprise market is going so well that SMB's can be blown off...I really can't imagine fast-moving start-ups in this space, such as Hive, ClickUp, Notion, Coda, etc. this poorly reacting to commentary on their very own forums!!
