Create a new folder

Click on the folder, happily add in pages with "+".

How do I setup the Folder, so that when clicked it will display a bunch of information, text, images, etc about the pages under the folder?

I know it can be done, since it's setup on some pages on the Confluence I'm using... But noone remembers how to set it up.

Many thanks in advance for any pointers

Hi @Dave Creelman

Folders are simply containers, and aren't able to contain any information or context, outside of the folder name. To have what you're looking for, you'd need to create a page instead of a folder and then use that page to house additional context about the child pages.

Tah Chris.

...I think I found that by fiddling around. Good to get that confirmed.

I found that a normal page can have child pages underneath, so it can look and work just like a Folder..

Having discovered this, I'm not sure what benefit folders give over normal pages....
