Hello,
We are going to set up the cluster for Confluence Data Center for the first time.
We will like to start setting the cluster only for one node, and after we validate the configuration is ok (load balancer, hazelcast etc), we will pass to a second node
For the first stage of setting one single node i have a question about the shared home:
In this documentation Clustering with Confluence Data Center | Confluence Data Center and Server 8.4 | Atlassian Documentation says that the shared home have to contain
I guess that i will have to move frome the local confluence-data all these directories but In my current confluence data i dont see the following directories;
Also, i guess that the directory plugins i have to put it in both directories (shared home and confluence-data local)
Could you help me to have a better understanding of what it has to appear in the shared path and the confluence-data local path?
Thanks!!
@Ana Martinez Arroyo Are you currently running a single node data center instance? If you are then you should have already created the shared home directory. If you need to move that you can follow the steps in the KB https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/how-to-move-the-shared-home-folder-in-confluence-data-center-949241384.html
Hello,
No, we are not there. We need to understand better the transition to the non-cluster to the 1 node cluster.
Could you give us a better understanding of what have to be done?
Thanks!

@Ana Martinez Arroyo I would strongly recommend following Atlassian's documentation on clustering. https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/set-up-a-confluence-data-center-cluster-982322030.html and https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/clustering-with-confluence-data-center-790795847.html
This will address all aspects including hardware.
