Session Timeout

After signing in to Confluence my session times out after about 10 to 15 seconds.

This is happening to multiple accounts on our system but some of them get maybe a minute or two.

How can this be fixed / adjusted.

Hi Mark,

I understand some users are seeing sessions time out in Confluence only 10 - 15 seconds after logging in.

By default the session timeout is an hour, as described in How to adjust the session timeout for Confluence. Please check the timeout setting in the file:  <confluence_install>/confluence/WEB-INF/web.xml.

Is it possible that you are accessing another application in the browser and it's overwriting the cookie for Confluence? If so, there are two workarounds on this guide: Logging into another Atlassian application logs me out of Confluence
