Seeking a FOSS Document Management System that works with Confluence?

Ideally a free open source solution that can somehow be used to store versioned file types that are accessible within Confluence.

My goal is to use Confluence as a Knowledge Base with links to the Document Management system content which gives granular access control to in a similar way to Confluence's Spaces.

I need to satisfy ISO 27001,which is something that I don't think Confluence supports because of the way it natively stores attachments.

Alfresco is an open source document management solution, and you can use the Aflresco Confluence connector to display the files inside Confluence.

In terms of security, you can continue to use Confluence's builtin security features, and also from Alfresco.

So it there a future in the product, or what does "archived" means?

"Archived" means that it is no longer sold on Atlassian's marketplace. That is all. I'm afraid we can't control the text they provide for "archived" add-ons as they are described there.

Ok, thank for the answer - I read it as discontinued, but I am glad to hear that it is not the case.

Besides that, not using the Marketplace is in my POV sad, as this promotes, markets and makes plugins easy to test, buy and maintain, a great feature of Confluence!!

Let me elaborate a little.

I want to add attachments to an EDM system using Confluence. Then be able to view, link to, edit and search within the EDM-hosted content from within Confluence.

In short, I'm looking to replace Confluence's attachement storage with an EDM system and use the content as though it were natively in Confluence.

The Aflresco Confluence connector does not currently support search.
