Search a Confluence Page based on Headers with Livesearch Macro

Hi,

I have a page called A, and one if its child pages is called B. Inside B, there are many header1 titles. Also, both pages A and B have a label/tag called C.

I added a live search macro in A and specified the label as C so the search works only in the space of A and its children pages. The problem is, if I try to search for a specific header1 title inside B, it will not return any results. From my understanding, the livesearch macro will search based on the page name itself, and doesn’t support “header” searching.

Is there an option to make it search for headers as well?

Thanks

Hi @majd makhoul ,

You probably figured it out already (it was submitted in April..)

Yes, lifesearch macro searches content of the pages as well (not just page titles).

Regarding specific headers - they are part of the page content, as well as any other text which is not headers. So your search should produce results.

Thanks
