Running javascript IFTTT

Matěj Mazák May 31, 2024

Hello,

I am trying to create a Javascript automation in Confiforms and honestly don't know what I'm doing wrong.

I have two fields in my form:

  • Vote - which is a space delimited list of usernames
  • Winner - which is empty userpicker field and should be filled by one random username from Vote field

This is the IFTTT rule with the javascript I'm trying to run:

Now it could be that the javascript is wrong, I am not that strong in programming or that I am just parsing the values wrong way.

Hi @Matěj Mazák

If you want to modify field values in UI with your custom Javascript then consider doing it via https://wiki.vertuna.com/display/CONFIFORMS/ConfiForms+Field+Definition+Rules#ConfiFormsFieldDefinitionRules-RuncustomJavaScript
