Restrictions to anonyoums User in Confluence

codecentric AG September 30, 2012

Hi,

I created a confluence space where I show all blogs in that space. Anonyoums user should have the possibility to read, create new and comment blog entries.

Unfortunately I can't prevent that an anonyoums user edits an existing blog article. He should only be able to comment and to creat new ones.

What I did:

1. Add to Global Permissions: Anonym can use Confluence.

2. In the space administration changed the anonymous permissions to: Can show, Add News, Add comments.

Did I miss anything?

Thanks

Joerg

In Confluence, Create and Edit are driven by the same permission. Once you grant 'Add' to Anonymous users, they will be able to edit as well.

Thanks Jobin. I already suspected that.
