I'm looking to stop users from accidentally moving pages into our display space.

We separated out confluence into three big sections where we can are either writing new documentation, hosting sensitive engineering data or displaying completed documentation. However, due to naming conventions sometimes a user might move an incomplete document or sensitive data into our display side.

Is there a way to restrict a space from having pages moved into it?

Moving pages between spaces should require the following permissions:

  • In the origin space, the user must be able to delete pages.
  • In the destination space, the user must be able to add pages.

There is no specific permission related to moving pages. In your case, you will need to make sure that the users you don't want to move pages into your space don't have the Add Pages permission on your space.
