I am trying to create a template structure for the operations team. We want to create a template per store and then have child pages such as network design, hardware requirements, store information etc etc.
I wish to be able to do this without paying for a plugin - are there any free plugins out there or any way to do it?
I dont mind building a macro if this is what it takes, but any recommendations where to start or how to do it?

I believe the standard way to handle this is to create a set of the pages you want to act as the boilerplate content in a space:
Store
You can instruct people to copy the Store page and its child pages to create that structure for a new store, which they can then edit (page names and content) for that store.
Note that you cannot have multiple pages with the same title in a single space, so, if you want to copy the structure to the same space, you will need to institute a convention to distinguish the page names. For example, by adding the store number/name/code at the end of the page title. Of course, even if you create a separate space for each store, you might want to do this to distinguish the pages in search results across spaces.
