Hello
I wonder if it would be possible for images to behave in a similar way to document files when they are set to display inline? ie a pdf will show the pdf icon followed by the file name text when set to inline. Both the icon and the text are a link to the actual file. When an image (jpg etc) is set to inline, it just displays a very small thumbnail of the image but without the file name. If I want both the thumbnail and text to link to the file, I have to create a separate link pointing to the attached file which is a bit more work.
I understand not everyone wants the text next to the inline image, so perhaps there could there be an option to choose either style?
Thanks
Andrew
@Andrew Schischka welcome to the Atlassian community
The functionality you are describing, as you know, does not exist. Atlassian has a site were individuals can submit feature requests. I was not able to find one for what you are asking for so I would suggest that you submit it. By doing this others can vote on it and Atlassian can review it for consideration.
When you submit a feature request be as detailed as possible. I would suggest including screenshots as well.
You can submit feature request here: https://jira.atlassian.com/secure/Dashboard.jspa?selectPageId=10440 After you submit one you should come back and add the link to your feature request here so more people can find and vote on it.
Very helpful, thanks. I'll do exactly that.
