Reposition handle for macro configuration to the left of the macro

Hi,

When creating content in Confluence featuring macros such as User Profile, it's very annoying to have the macro "configuration handle" appear over any text or heading that is just above the macro.

Countless times already I clicked in the heading and started typing but unwillingly replaced the macro with what I typed, because I had selected the macro instead of the header behind this handle. 

Maybe aligning this grey "configuration handle" where the red X is would be an idea?

Hi @Frank D ,

Once you click on this 'handle', the macro toolbar does appear under the macro.

But yeah - I believe 'handle' hovering the text or some other content can be a bit tricky sometimes.

I guess this is a question for the design team. I would suggest reaching out to Atlassian Support and discuss it more with them. They can probably create some kind of feature request or at least forward the idea to the product team to check it out.
