Reopening a visa closed in error

we has someone post a visa payment as a loan close transaction and can not void the transaction.  We tried to remove the close date from the visa but then get error message to void the transaction.  When we try to void the transaction we get the following error 

Target cannot be found

 

Does anyone know a workaround or how to void and reopen the visa.
