Remove 'Upcoming Events' from the Dashboard

Thomas Berger July 13, 2012
We are using Team Calendars and Confluence 3.5.13. Since updating Team Calendars to v2.1 (I guess), we are experiancing two issues:
- slow loading time of the Dashboard
- Calendar events are rendered on top of the Dashboard (without CSS applied) intermittently like this:
Upcoming Events
  • Saturday Today
We are not even using the default Dashboard but the home page of a space.
Any way to remove the 'Upcoming Events' from the Dashboard? Looks like 'dashboard.action' always wants to render the upcoming events...

Disable the Dashboard upcoming events module under the Team Calendars plugin in Confluence Admin >> Plugins

Hi Thomas,

You can achieve this by putting this css from Confluence Admin >> Stylesheet >> Edit.

.dashboard-calendar {
display:none;
}

Hope it helps. Cheers!

Thanks for that. However, it is still loading it and I was hoping for a solutions that doesn't load the calendar dashboard (because it's slowing it down).
