Dear everyone,
we are using the Cloud-Version and would like to offer our Support-Info as part of a Confluence-Space with several Pages, while referring to it from our Website.
Now, for this we would like to remove the "Create"-Button at the top so our clients as anonymous cannot see it.
From a rather lengthy internet-search, it appears that this would not be possible. In other cases people say that I could write some HTML under "Layouts" but I am Site-Admin and cannot see that section "Layouts" anywhere.
Any help is much appreciated,
Best,
Andreas
Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
It's annoying that the button appears even when a user has no access to create anything, and there's a request to get it fixed somewhere. But you can't remove it on Cloud. It's harmless - it won't let them do anything, but it should really follow the Atlassian standard of not offering options you can't use.
Hi Nic,
thanks a lot for your fast reply!
Well, having certainty is already a good thing in itself and we now have to discuss internally if it makes sense at all to use it like this.
Best,
Andreas
