hiya - have created a database structure and imported a set of data from .csv, created filters/views and we will start using the db to track some work that's in progress and get rid of a spreadsheet hopefully - is there a way to have a record count display as filters/views are applied to the full dataset and I am just missing it? Sort of like doing a SUBTOTAL for a range in Excel - this concept, record count changes as search/views applied to dataset;Screenshot 2024-02-21 at 8.42.07 AM.png

Thanks

Hi - I hope that you are Doing good !!

Yes, there are several different solutions, but you'll need to install Table Filter and Charts add-on:

Using Table Filter macro. Wrap the table with Table Filter macro, add a dropdown filter for the column with processor, filter the table. Then either:
Hover over the filter icon in the filtration pane.
Set dynamic descending row numbering.
Wrap the filter macro with Pivot Table. It will show filtered rows count by default.
Using Pivot Table macro only. You can wrap the table with this macro, select column with processors in Row Labels select. It will show you count of each processor in the table. The same you can do for other columns. Also you can visualize this results with Chart from Table macro.

Happy to help any further !!

Thank you very much and have a fantastic day!
Warm regards
