Pull-down menu in a table in Confluence

Hello, 

I am trying to work out a way to add a pull-down table in Confluence without using a 3rd-party tool. I see how to add a pull-down menu to a template (using the "list" function) but cannot see how to make it work in a table. Putting it directly to the side of a table would work in a pinch, but I cannot see how to do that either - it always goes to the line underneath the table. 

Do you know if it is possible to do this?

Hi @Leo Kelly ~ I don't believe this is possible without an add-on.  I'd love for someone else to prove me wrong though...
