Hi All,

I've created a public facing confluence site with anonymous users enabled. While my external users can access the site, they are greeted with this "Open in Confluence to see this content" page. Is it possible to skip this step and go directly to the content of the space?

Hi @Christopher Garcia and welcome to the Community.

It seems that some of the content in you anonymous space is either restricted or is shared from a non-public space.

I'm not really a fan of anonymous space precisely because it creates a) certain level of risk b) results in permission/restriction issues.

I really recommend using Scroll Viewport app by K15t which creates a publicly available doc site while allowing you to keep your Confluence space private (without enabling anonymous access).

In addition, you can control WHEN the content is make public, unlike with anonymous space where the moment you publish a page, it is available.

Viewport will also supports custom domains (see our site for an example of private Confluence content made available thru a Viewport site).
