Public access to confluence documents from external applications

Rafael Tejero Palma January 19, 2023

Hi all,

I know the answer is probably no. But I wanted to know if it is possible to display confluence documents in other applications (like an adhoc developed extranet) in the same way they are displayed in the Jira Service Management user portal. That is, as suggested help articles for the user.

Does anyone have any similar experience accessing Confluence articles via API access? (as an alternative to build a similar functionality)

Thank you very much

Rafa

@Rafael Tejero Palma

Jira Service Management is just using the Confluence API to display documents.  You could technically create your own code that access the Confluence pages through the API and displays them in another application.  https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/confluence/rest/v1/intro/#auth

Thanks Brant!

We'll check it and return to give some feedback,
