We currently have a problem on confluence cloud with images stating preview unavailable.
Current Setup Below
We have one master page which has a section of it containing an excerpt with an image in.
We then have another a page on another workspace just showing the Excerpt from the master page which works fine and displays the image.
We then have a further a page on another workspace using the page include macro but the images on that page state "preview unavailable"
Can anyone advise how to resolve this.
Hi @Michael Main and welcome to the community,
The last page which uses the include macro, is including the master page, or the "another page"?
Hi Alex thanks for your comment.
The last page that is using the page include macro is linked only to the master page.

Did the last page moved from a location to another? And I'm asking you this because a few weeks ago another person had a problem with image unavailability while using excerpt/include macro and I was able to reproduce this error only when moving the page to a different location. It turned out that after a couple of days that issue was fixed by itself.

No the last page is create as new, I just add new page and add the page include and point it to the master page. I have just recreated a few pages from new and get the same outcome.

Tell if I did the steps correctly:
On the above example, and within the last page I can see the correctly the image which loaded from the excerpt of the first page.

I not quite sure its the same.
In total you should have 3 pages (in 3 different workspaces)
Main Page (master) has a table of data and images but this is split into with an excerpt (the first 5 rows of the table are included in the excerpt the rest of the page is just standard)
2nd Page (in another workspace) is a new page just including the excerpt and is working fine.
3rd Page (in another workspace) is using the page include macro just to replicate the main master page (this is where the images are unavailable)
The idea behind this is to have 1 source of data so if we make changes to the master it is replicated in the other workspaces.
Hope this explains it a bit better.

Thanx for the information. I've replicated the above, but on my instance the include page shows the image correctly.
I have my master page (had to write it as master pages because I already had another page with the same name)
Then I have my excerpt page on another space:
And finally on a 3rd space I have my include page (which includes the master page):
If you try to create a new "include" page, in the same space, do you get the same results?

Ok that is very similar what happens if you put the image inside the excerpt? does it still show in both pages?

If I include the image in the excerpt, then the image doesn't show :/

Yup, I think that this is a general bug with an image being placed inside an excerpt. This is your issue I believe https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-74786 which you should vote and watch for updates.

Ok thank you for having a look at this and pointing us the direction of the general bug link. At least I know I was doing everything right.
Thanks again.

@Michael Main if that's ok with you, kindly mark my answer as accepted, in order to help others with the same problem towards the right direction. Much appreciated!

I'm having the same issue except P2 is using the include page macro and i did not use the excerpt macro. P2 images are showing up as preview unavailable. This is major for it's doing it on A LOT of my pages in my team space that uses the include page macro and I have users that rely on these pages.
When is this going to be looked at considering the last comment here was from last year?
