Personal space has no restrictions, can still only be seen by owner

SeanM February 14, 2014

User A is unable to view User B's personal space. Gets an error:

Page Not Found

The page you were trying to reach could not be found. This could be because:

  • The page does not exist.
  • The page exists, but you do not have permission to view it.

User B has restrictions on her personal space so that only she could view it or edit it, so result is expected. But then B changes restrictions so that User A *could* also view it. User A still unable to view B's space, gets same error message.

User B removes all restrictions from her personal space. No other is able to view it. All users get the same "Page Not Found" error message. Why is nobody able to view B's space? Is there some further setting, other than restrictions, that is preventing it?

On every page we have two types of permissions. One is space permissions and another one is page restrictions.

You can give view/edit/delete page permissions using Space permissions. Using page restictions we can restrict the people to edit/view the page. So check if the page has any page restrictions.

Follow the steps to find page restrictions: page==> Tools ==> Restrictions ==> here we can manage the perms.
