I have never really used my Personal Space in Confluence. Is it a wasted opportunity?
Recently, I've started using my personal space to:
These seem a little useful for me, but also superficial.
What other ways do you all use your personal Confluence Space?
Hi @bill.cushard welcome to the community. In addition to what you've referenced, I will use my space to do some prototyping or testing of existing functionality if I'm having issues in my regular spaces.
Hi @bill.cushard I use mine to create pages that I plan to use as templates in my main space. This way, I can put some boilerplate text/sections and publish the page to see how it looks before then copying that into a template I create in my other space.
I also sometimes copy a page from my main space to my personal space before I make major changes to it in the main space—particularly when it involves removing text temporarily ("we're not going to go live with that new feature yet") or when I feel I might want that text again in another page or sometime down the road ("oh, we decided not to remove that feature after all"). I know there's the page history, but this way I don't need to remember what version to go back to.
