I work with a Confluence Server 6.2 configuration.
The password reset process is not working.
When people's login doesn't succeed, they click on a Forgotten password button.
A dialog box asks to enter the username or email:
They receive a message allowing them to reinitialize their password.
Then, nothing happens.
Where can I tune the parameters so that this process works properly?
The SMTP works properly, as far as I can tell. Further observations lead me to see that people misinterpret the emails. The subject is "[confluence] Here is your password". Users thinks they will see a password, but they don't... and prefer to ask me. However, clicking on the "Reinitialize password" blue button works in most cases.
Therefore, I have to broadcast the correct procedure or, more difficult, change the email template to suggest clicking on the blue button.
