Confluence templates have recently moved over to a new format. The Panel macro is not available for selection, and when trying to copy one over from an old template; it appears as an empty table cell..
Has this macro been removed, is there a way to get it to work in the new templates.. is it going to be supported going forward?

Panel macros are not available in the new Confluence editor, you can only add info/note/warning/error/success panels from now on:

considering i have a tonne of templates which use panels .. which i need to continue making to contain panels.. this doesn't help at all no

Maybe you could replace them with a user macros and custom CSS?
