Page not found for Multi-Excerpt Include

Lynette Perkins August 31, 2021

I added a multiexcerpt on a published page, published, then tried to include it on another page and am getting the following error:

Page with title '2PSPP:Social Pillar: Outcomes, KPIs and Pillar Status' could not be found. Please enter valid page title or check your permission.

I am the admin for our org and have full permissions.  Does anyone know why this would be happening?

Thank you!

I am not sure I am understanding the question here, and I don't want to try to answer for the wrong situation.

The bit I am fuzzy on is "I added a multiexcerpt on a published page, published, then tried to include it on another page".

Assuming page A has some blocks of content wrapped in a multi-excerpt macros, then are you getting this error when

  • You are editing page B and trying to use the multi-excerpt macro to get bits of page A into it
  • You are trying to include page B (which contains multi-excerpt results) in another page (or excerpt)

For what it's worth, I'm betting on the first case, but I'm only 75% sure on that.  If it is the first case, then I have a vague memory of several macros, possibly including the multi-excerpt one, struggling to identify which : is the space/page separator in page names.  In other words, try renaming '2PSPP:Social Pillar: Outcomes, KPIs and Pillar Status' to '2PSPP:Social Pillar - Outcomes, KPIs and Pillar Status' or something similar - lose the colon in the name of the page, I suspect the macro is looking for a space called '2PSPP:Social Pillar' instead of the space that actually exists called '2PSPP'
