Page edit alerts even though I'm not watching

Edited

I'm getting edit alerts for pages I'm not watching. I think this is because I'm the one who created the page. Even so, I no longer want alerts for when these pages are edited.

I've unchecked every email notification option under my profile settings. I've also stopped watching the pages in question. Yet I still get alerted when the page is edited. Is there a way to turn off this alert?

Here's my email settings, notice everything is turned off.

And for the pages in question, here is what the watch settings say:

The correct answer to this appears to be that it is not possible. If you are the page creator you will get alerts for page edits regardless of watch settings.

Hi @Joe Crawford and welcome,

probably you have "autowatch" in your personal profile setting. Please take a look to the following article https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/subscribe-to-email-notifications/

Fabio

Thanks for replying Fabio. As mentioned in my original post, I have none of the Email settings enabled in my profile as seen in the screenshot below. Notice Autowatch is unchecked. Is there another place this could be enabled?

I also have auto watch disabled on the actual page(s) in question:

Hey @Joe Crawford , please could you check on Personal Settings -> Watches ?

There are watches in that area, I will clear them all out. But for the pages I'm getting these alerts for they are already not watched as show by my second screenshot.

I installed the Simply Watches app from the market place and bulk removed all my watches. I'll see if that helps and follow up with an answer in a few days so others can benefit. Thanks Fabio!

ok @Joe Crawford . Let me know

Unfortunately, I'm still getting alerts, despite having no watches. I am watching my own space, but the edited page was in a different space.

Zero watches:

Edited page in Knowledge Base space:

Hey @Joe Crawford , you receive those notification because your are page creator. Please try to contact support in order to verify if you can stop these notification https://support.atlassian.com/contact/

For my knowledge, you can't disable this setting .

Ah got it. That seems so odd to me, thank you!
