The PDF Macro, which embeds a preview of the PDF on the Confluence page, reloads the page every 3-4 seconds. That means the viewed page will first go black, then the "loading spinner" is shown, followed by the page reappearing for 3 seconds or so. Is this a known problem? Is there a known solution? Thanks in advance.

Seems to sporadically affect all file sizes. I would say that once every 10 views will the preview function correctly. I have also noticed the .ppt Macro is also affected.

Currently there are no active incidents on Confluence https://confluence.status.atlassian.com/

I am also running into this problem on a page that I have embedded quite a few PDF's but they are all pretty small files. Did an issue ever get logged? or did anyone find a work around?

The problem is consistent and happens to PDF files of all sizes. The PDF macro seems very unreliable. This is and has been a recurring problem with the macro for as long as I can remember. The way the problem manifests itself my guess would be load time / timeout issues.
