Okta SSO Confluence On-Prem

We have configured Okta SSO On prem using the Jar file. It seems to work seemlessly from IDP initiated flow. However, When we hit confluence URL directly , it fails to re direct and lands in Page not found .

we followed the SAML 2.0 integration in Atlassian page to the dot, but it seems to fail when we initiate from SP once the session expires/ we close out all the browser etc.

Any help and suggestion will be greatly appreciated

We also see this in our on-premise installation. Very frustrating as most users see that page and think they don't have access to the url you've just send them.
