Notification Icon missing after upgrading to version 6.6.6

Dear Atlassian Support,

after upgrading to Confluence 6.6.6 (from 6.0.2) the notification icon next to the user icon is missing. I can open the notification area and everything works fine. When getting a new notification the counter grows. But the icon is missing.
